Headaches and Upper Cervical Chiropractic

As an upper cervical chiropractor in Wyomissing, PA, I often see patients who suffer from chronic headaches and migraines.  In fact, I would say that headaches fall in the top 3 most common initial complaints from my clients. In many cases, these headaches are caused by misalignments of the upper cervical spine and can be corrected with upper cervical chiropractic care.  It is estimated that roughly 80% of headaches are caused by a problem stemming from the neck.

What is Upper Cervical Care and headaches?

Upper cervical chiropractic care is a specialized form of spinal care that focuses on the upper neck vertebrae, specifically C1 (Atlas) and C2 (Axis). When these vertebrae are misaligned, they can cause a variety of problems, such as headaches, neck pain, dizziness, and other symptoms.

At my practice, we use a variety of techniques to correct misalignments in the upper cervical spine. These include gentle, precise adjustments to the vertebrae to restore proper nervous system function. My goal is to help my patients find lasting relief from their headaches and other symptoms, and assist in helping you function at 100%!

I understand that headaches can be debilitating and interfere with a person’s life. That’s why we take the time to thoroughly assess each patient and create a customized treatment plan.  In our office, we don’t believe in guessing so we utilize the latest form of testing and imagining.  We use digital infrared technology on every patient to assess the performance of the nervous system.

What you can expect!

I have seen firsthand the benefits that upper cervical chiropractic care can provide for headache sufferers. My patients often report that their headaches are less frequent and less severe after receiving care. In some cases, headaches are completely eliminated after a course of care. If you are suffering from frequent headaches, I urge you to consider upper cervical chiropractic care. When managed properly, this type of care can help you to find lasting relief and improved quality of life.
